Uzbek, U.S. Universities Discuss Agricultural Cooperation in Televised Link-Up

Don Reilly, vice president and Chief Information Officer for campus, and professor of decision information technologies (Smith School) and affiliate professor of mechanical engineering (Clark School), presided over a “televised bridge link between the University of Maryland and Tashkent State Agricultural University,” which took place during the recent U.S. visit by Uzbek’s president. Maryland is working with the government of Uzbekistan to create the Central Asian country's first virtual university.
