Professor Omar Ramahi Earns Excellent Paper Award

Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Omar Ramahi earned an Excellent Paper Award at the 2004 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility in Sendai, Japan this June.

The paper, entitled “Controlling Aperture Resonance using Novel Coating Techniques: Theory, Simulation and Measurements,” was coauthored with Lin Li, an ME Ph.D. student who graduated this summer.

Papers presented at EMC'04/Sendai were judged by an Award Committee, and authors of selected papers earned the Excellent Awards for outstanding contributions to the EMC fields.
