Farrell, Timmy
Timmy Farrell serves as a Senior Academic Advisor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He recieved his Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed) in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Virginia Tech and his Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Through past positions, he gained extensive experience in student advising and leadership development. He enjoys using those skills as an academic advisor to help students overcome challenges to have transformative experiences at UMD and to support Mechanical Engineering student organization members in becoming leaders in their campus communities.
Outside of work, Timmy enjoys exploring new cusines by being a foodie, reading mystery novels, and connecting with his close community of friends and family.
