Join SWE as we welcome GE. The General Electric company will be presenting an overview of their various branches and different opportunities for engineers in their company. In addition, there will be a career panel that allows students to ask GE engineers questions about the company and job options. Dinner will be served.
GE is made up of several different companies: Aviation, Capital (Finance business), Energy, Healthcare, NBC Universal, Oil & Gas, Transportation, Water Process Technologies. GE has over 300,000 employees across the globe. From Thomas Edison's first commercially viable light bulb to the first x-ray machines, GE has continued to innovate what has yet to be imagined. GE was there for the first walk on the moon. GE created the first television network, the first man-made diamond and the first jet engine. This is imagination at work.
