Assistant Professor Satyandra K. Gupta Receives NSF CAREER Award

Assistant Professor Satyandra K. Gupta has won a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award for "Automated Design of Multi-Piece Molds -- A Step towards Manufacturing of Geometrically Complex Heterogeneous Objects." The five-year award begins July 1 and is worth $375,000.

The Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program is a Foundation-wide activity that supports junior faculty within the context of their overall career development. It combines in a single program the support of research and education of the highest quality and in the broadest sense.
