Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Program Ranks 23rd in USNWR Release

U.S. News & World Report’s "America's Best Colleges 2005" ranks the A. James Clark School of Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program as one of the most favorable in the nation. The Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program ranked 23rd overall. The department ties with Yale University for this position.

The Clark School of Engineering undergraduate program as a whole ranked 25th, tied with the University of Southern California and the University of Washington. The Clark School of Engineering Aerospace undergraduate program ranked 10th in the same announcement, which was released on August 18, 2004.

“This is a tremendous vote of confidence by our colleagues around the country and shows that our dedication, investment, and “smarts” are making a difference. This is a wonderful launching point for the upcoming academic year,” states Mechanical Engineering Chair Dr. Avram Bar-Cohen.
